The Lipova Town Museum

The Lipova town museum was founded in 1952 and sheltered in the Misici Castle, built in the 19th century. Along with the numerous objects of feudal art, a collection of old Romanian books the museum also comprises the art collections of Eleonora Costescu and Vasile Varga, modern Romanian paintings, paintings from the Flemish, Italian, English, French, Hungarian schools, pieces of decorative art (silverware, porcelain, glassware, furniture).

Opening hours: Daily: from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm / closed on Monday.
