Taga Lake Ţaga

In the administrative radius of the village Taga were arranged accumulations that were designed to protect against flooding, becoming with time fisheries establishments. Like the lakes from Sucutard, Santejude and Geaca, Taga Mare Lake is actually an accumulation resulting from the establishment of Valley Fizes, currently having exploitation potential for fish farming.

The first anthropical intervention was the construction of a dam that separated the Lakes Taga Mare from Taga Mica, which led to an area of fishery exploitation of the lake Taga Mare of 101 hectares. The areas in Fizes Valley are around a third of the total area obtained for fisheries in the Transylvanian Plain, ranking second place in size after the basin of the Paraul de Campie.
