Josika Palace Cluj-Napoca

This real estate, located on 10 Piata Unirii (Union Square), is also known as “the house with feet” due to the four columns on which the balcony from the first floor is supported. The building is the former residence of the Transylvanian princes who visited Cluj and the real estate was later bought by the baron Josika in the 18th century, the governor Josika Janos building the first part of the actual building which had only one floor, adding another floor in the 19th century, reaching its current form. Between 1880 and 1902 it was the head office of the Royal Court from Cluj.
