Presentation - The Zoological Natural Reserve "legiilor Valley" Geaca

The natural area is in the Eastern extremity of Cluj County, in the Western part of Geaca village and the Eastern part of Legii village, being a reservation of a avifaunal type.

The protected area is represented by wet meadow areas, water surfaces and areas of marsh, where we find plants such as reeds and bulrush, and includes the southern part of Legii valley, Morii valley and the Western portion of Geaca lake.

The area of the reservation has over 120 ha and we can find several species of migratory birds, including: egret, grey heron, bittern, lapwing, moor hen, coot and several species of ducks.
