The Station from Predeal

The actual building of the station from Predeal is one of the most modern works of the country. It is the outcome of the labour of prof. Dr. Ing. Mircea Manoilescu from Cluj and that of arh. Dr. Ilie Dumitrescu from I.P.C. Bucureşti, being established on 25th December 1968.


Placed near the spring of the river Prahova, the building is leaning on two basic points, which are held by three Benoto type columns – made of reinforced concrete –, drilled into the ground at a depth of 25 m, according to the IPCF Bucureşti project.
