The Romanian Academy Library

The Romanian Academy Library was founded on August 6th. 1867, a year later than the Romanian Academic Society and still has as its major goal the collecting and preservation of the national patrimony of manuscripts and printed materials related mainly to the history and culture of the Romanian people, as well as the world-wide history and civilization.
