Presentation - The Statuary Group Of The Voivodes Iasi

The statuary ensemble (made upon a project signed by the architect Constantin Iotzu,(1933-1934), located in a parc, near the Students' Cultural House, is formed by monuments representing the following voivodes: Dragos Voda, Alexandru cel Bun, Ioan Voda cel Viteaz, Petru Rares, Stefan cel Mare, Mihai Viteazul, Vasile Lupu, Dimitrie Cantemir.

Initially, instead of Ioan Voda cel Viteaz and Petru Rares, there were the kings Carol I-st and Ferdinand I-st.
