Kretzulescu Palace


The Palace, which belonged the Kretzulescu family was built at the beginning of 20th century, by Romanian architect Petre Antonescu (1873-1965) in French Renaissance Style.

In the inter-war period, the house sheltered the Museum of Religious Arts. Since 21st of September 1972, it houses the headquarters of UNESCO’s European Centre for Higher Education UNESCO-CEPES (known as CEPES after its French name, Centre Europeen pour l'enseignement superieur).
