With the coming of Liviu Ciulei at Bulandra, the theatre knows a period of great artistic emancipation and resynchronization at the vanguard spirits of arts. It is the period of the great performances, achieved by Liviu Ciulei and Lucian Pintilie, the period when Bulandra becomes an elite theatre.
