In Savadisla locality, in the 19th century, the last ambassador of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire at la Paris, Miklos Szechen baron, uses Mikes Castle as summer residence.

The castle is located on a property of approximately 14 ha and it was built in English neo-Gothic style, with ground floor, attic floor and vertical tower. The tower is 13.5 m, protecting two bodies of buildings with 64 rooms oriented towards East-West. The palace has two balconies located on the Eastern and Southern facades. In the present the castle houses a pneumo-phthisiology sanatorium.
